in juvenile court?
You have the right to have an attorney defend you
at all stages of the proceedings and you have the right to have
a trial. You have the right to confront and cross examine any witnesses
who may be called against you. You have the right to issue subpoenas

be in custody for?
A juvenile has the right to see a Judge within 24 hours of being
arrested and can be detained by the Judge for up to 21 days on a
normal arrest. There are some exceptions to this rule. If a juvenile
is found guilty of a crime they may be sentenced to probation or
a program. The length of a program depends on the charges and how
well the juvenile does while at the program. This process can be
very confusing and complicated so for a complete explanation call
Corey Cohen at 407-897-0888.
